Alicia is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience encompassing industry, NHS, private healthcare, Higher Education, and the 3rd sector.
Partnerships & Clinical Innovation Director
Alicia is a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics, a trained Clinical Safety Officer, a Doctoral student and an EU advisor for her profession. She has significant experience across the UK, delivering at scale transformation programmes, service improvement projects and delivering digital health innovations. Alicia is an experienced programme manager and builds strong partnerships and collaborative working practices in her work. She established a health informatics innovation service (University of Leeds) and was Deputy Director of mHabitat, an innovative NHS, people-driven digital service. She is a founding inventor of Leeds LOOP for health and care information and won the Chief Allied Health Professionals Officer Digital Innovator of the year 2017 for her leadership building/running the multi-award-winning, mental health information website, MindWell. She is a serial innovator, most recently creating a groundbreaking web app for Occupational Therapists funded by the Casson Trust. Alicia also volunteers with Rotary, as a NED for Connect Housing Association, and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists England Board. She has presented work internationally, has published research/articles and successfully bid for funding for small/large scale projects.
