A qualified pharmacist, with 14 years of experience in clinical pharmacy in the NHS, an MBA in General Management, qualifications in Project Management and Clinical Risk Management, and over 7 years leading digital health transformation programmes across the NHS, Miren brings valuable technical & medical expertise to any role that he undertakes.
His experience in clinical risk management spans a career of over 7 years, having been a Principal Clinical Safety Officer for Cerner, Optum and more recently, Healthy.io. Whilst his experiences have been primarily to support digital health technology companies to obtain the required compliance as per NHS Digital’s DCB 0129 standard, he has additionally supported NHS Organisations deploy several technologies including and not limited to electronic prescribing and medicines administration systems (ePMAs) as per NHS Digital’s DCB 0160 standard. He was appointed as a Fellow to the UK’s professional body of clinical informatics, The Faculty of Clinical Informatics, based on his leadership and major contributions in promoting a culture of clinical safety in the UK and internationally.
