Peter Davis
Pete joined ETHOS as a trainee Clinical Safety Officer in 2021, as part of the companies commitment to support AHPs wishing to enter this speciality field of informatics.
Clinical Safety Officer

Pete is a Registered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience in an extensive range of clinical settings and roles, from rugby and sports to Universities and Occupational Health.
Pete, originally from the Northwest of England, graduated from Keele University with 1st class honours Degree in Physiotherapy, in 2001. His practice and development took him to a range of roles across the UK and New Zealand before moving back to the UK. Pete’s extensive clinical experience has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the NHS’s risk management requirements and a deep understanding of the health and care system challenges.
He is a technical member of ACPOHE (Association of Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics) and his current role involves facilitating research into practice through clinical risk hazard identification and management for NHS staff.
In 2021 Pete joined ETHOS in a training role and has been able to thrive and develop his clinical safety knowledge, experienced through ETHOS’s collegiate approach. As a Clinical Safety Officer, he is fully up to date with required assurance around health IT and the Clinical Safety Standards (DCB 0129/0160).
